My Dad is 60!

My Mom threw a suprise birthday party for my Dad. It was really fun and she put so much work into it. She went through all of her pictures and had a DVD made with all of them. So many were ones that we have not seen before. She had reserved the Oregon Trail Muesem and had a delicious dinner catered . The wonderful chocolate cake had the phrase "60 ain't old ...if your a tree." We ate inside of covered wagons, So cool! We then went to the theater and sang karaoke. The only real gliche was that Deid and Mom had it all planned out and we were all to be standing at the front of the elevator and when it opened yell "Suprise". Well as they headed into the elevator my Dad let go of my mom and said "I'll beat ya up the stairs." It was soooo funny as we were all poised and ready to yell and here he comes prancing up the stairs. My mom missed the "suprise" part and the look on her face was priceless when the elevator opened. My mom gave my dad the coolest present a trip to Washinton D.C. to see The Veterans Wall. We found out all kinds of interesting facts that we didn't know such as he was wounded in Vietnam and he recieved a purple heart. Happy 60th Dad!
