American Idol

We are obsessed about American Idol this season. We haven't been able to figure out a favorite yet, there are toooo many to love!! All of the contestants have such a unique style. We love David Archaleta for his boy next door humbleness and "Josh Groban" ish big velvety voice. We love Jason Castro for his hippie look, folk singer style and his goofy adorablness. We adore Brooke White for her contemporary throw-back to Carol King and Carly Simon in the 70's, her raspy voice is soothing. Davis Cook is so adaptable, he steps up to the plate no matter what style of music they throw at him and last weeks "Music of the Night" melts me like "Butta." Even Syesha, who was not a favorite at all, is now growing on us. We also loved Carly Smithson, the gal that got voted off this week, her voice had the quality of Heart and the power of Celine Dion. How do we choose!!! We will almost be glad to be released from the grip of this time consuming hobby and yet will be sad when it is over in a few weeks.
