Valentines Day

We thought that we were going to be in Bear Lake for Valentines day but due to the weather we got a late start and then turned back due to 16 cars that had gone off the road or wrecked. At the last minute and with ingredients we already had in our house the girls made us a candlelight dinner. It was sooo sweet and we had so much fun. They prepared it, set the table so cute and then dished it up for us. They took Carter upstairs and they watched a movie while Kent and I had a nice quiet dinner and then watched a movie with the fire going. Thanks girls for making it such a special night. Afterward they told us about all the crazy mishaps that happened. So funny! We thought that they had made the cake layer on purpose but I guess they burned it and then baked another thin one and glued them together with frosting. They also burned all of the meatballs and had to cut the bottoms off. Even with all of that it was delicious. 18 years ago Kent gave me my engagement ring tied to a cute little teddy bear!
