What a fun time we are having on our Pre Christmas Vacation! We had an uneventful trip to St. George on Friday night and then slept like only weary travelers can. Our hotel provided a wonderful continental breakfast, all agree that it was the best we have ever had. We headed on our merry way and arrived in LA around 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. We were extremley worried that our trip was going to turn into a disaster as it rained cats and dogs almost the entire trip. As we entered into the hotel we felt as though the Beverly Hillbillies had shown up to crash a swanky party. We pretty much hibernated in our room to avoid the rain and uber-snooty people. Relief was the only emotion we felt as we awoke to a beautiful Sunday morning. Off we went to Universal Studios and boy was it fun. It lacked the magic of our beloved Disneyland but we were glad to experience it. Carter was a kick the entire 2 days! He was so nervous about the Jurassic Park ride and it took some major convincing to get him to go on it. We see the 2nd grader coming out here everything has been X-ed if he doesn't like it or checked if he does like it! Examples: After our 3rd time riding the Mummy he said "Thats an X ! I'm not going on this again!" or when he was done with his drink at lunch he said "Does anybody want this coke because it an X with me!" and then promptly chucked it on the table. Gotta go to be I will finish tomorrow!
