A fun Weekend with Eric, Mandy and kids

We had a fun, busy weekend with Eric and Mandy and girls. They arrived Friday night and we had fun going out to the Crackerbarrel. They serve the yummiest breakfasts ever. We ran into my cousin Monica and her husband Larry and 2 of their kids. One funny thing that happened was that Carter had to use the restroom during dinner and so Aly got voted to take him. She sent him into the little boys room and was perusing the items in the gift shop right outside the door. She said that it was only a couple of seconds and all of a sudden comes this very very loud singing piercing through the quietness of the gift shop and everyone turns and listens as Carter belts out "If you wanna be my lover" by the Spice Girls and he just kept singing that same line over and over again with more feeling and volume each time. Aly was stuck, what she really wanted to do was walk away and pretend that she didn't know him but when he came out she didn't have a choice but to greet him with a chuckle and a pat on the head. Little Brothers!!! Saturday morning the Eric and Mandy headed off to SLC to a wedding and I headed to Sandy for my cousin Kandy's baby shower. I got to see Deid and Mom and that was a lot of fun. We had a fun night visiting againg with the Passeys and stayed up way tooo late. Kent showed us all up and got up and went to Sacrament meeting and then taught his Sunday School class for the first time and loved it. He teaches the 18 yr olds and has found that it is something that he really enjoys. The kids played hard all weekend, it was beautiful weather and gave the Bear Lakers hope that spring will eventually come thier way. We had a fun game of Hand and Foot and then ate a yummy lunch and were sad when the car with the 2B plates headed for Bear Lake. Thanks for the fun weekend.
