Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is a tough one as it is Kent's dads birthday. The year after he passed away was soooooooo hard especially for Tudi. We made a tradition of celebrating big on Christmas Eve. We all get together and have a big delicious celebratory meal and we have a Coke toast. It may sound silly but it is something that we look forward to every year. I personally think it makes me feel like he is right there with us. You can imagine the things that he would say or the faces he would make at how good the food was or something crazy that Kent would spout off with. Coke was his beverage of choice and it just seems fitting! I think that this tradition has helped take some of the pain of losing him and concentrating on remembering all of the many meals and fun times that we got to share with him. We sure do miss and love you Little Buddy!
We also look forward to Kent's cousin Laurie coming and spending the evening with us. She is always a good help and loves to play games just like we do. She is a hoot and my girls get a real kick out of her. It was a fun evening full of memories!
